What if you could provide a quality, private school education to a poor child for only $15 per month?

Would you do it? As amazing as it sounds, you can dramatically improve a child’s future for only $15 per month. That is less than the cost of one meal. How is it possible? Children in Liberia face severe challenges and significant barriers to obtaining an education. The nation has been ravaged by civil war and more recently the Ebola crisis. Your dollars’ worth is multiplied many times in this poverty-stricken nation. Most schools in Liberia are operated by churches. So, not only are they receiving a quality education, but are also in a nurturing Christian environment for 6 hours a day.SOROCA students with Ann

Shepherd’s Solid Rock Christian Academy (SOROCA) is a high-quality, Christian school, based just outside of Liberia’s capital city of Monrovia. SOROCA has partnered with El Bethel Church and Westside Christian Academy to improve the educational outcomes of Liberian children, many of whom lost their parents to Ebola.

Would you join us in this great endeavor by becoming a sponsor for one or more of these precious children?

About SOROVA

The kingship program was designed in 2014 to give Ebola orphans general welfare assistance. The focus of the program is to keep the children connected to their family lineage through an extended family member serving as guardian. After one year we expanded to other orphans to become beneficiaries of the program.

We build a school called shepherd solid rock Christian academy(SOROCA) to provide education for orphans, semi orphans (a child that have lost one parent), vulnerable children, children form single parents homes, low income earning homes and community children in general.
